Personalized care for every stage, every goal, and every athlete.

What I Treat

Pelvic Health

Common doesn't mean normal.

From trying to conceive through pregnancy and the months after baby, your body goes through remarkable changes. I help with pelvic girdle and back pain, labor preparation, C-section and perineal scar recovery, and rebuilding strength so you feel like yourself again.

Hormonal shifts can bring new bladder changes, pelvic dryness or discomfort, and a loss of core strength. These changes are common, but you don't have to accept them. Pelvic floor therapy can help you move through this season with confidence.

Menstral pain that keeps you home from work or plans is not something to push through. Whether it's painful periods (dysmenorrhea) or pain related to endometriosis, therapy can ease pelvic muscle tension and pain as part of your care team.

Leaking when you laugh, sneeze, or lift, rushing to the bathroom, going more often than you'd like, or straining to go are all signs your pelvic floor needs support. This includes stress and urge incontinence, bowel incontinence, overactive bladder, bladder pain, and bowel dysfunction.

Pain with intercourse, tampons, or exams, or ongoing pelvic or tailbone pain, often comes from muscles that are too tight rather than too weak. I treat and help manage conditions like dyspareunia, vaginismus, and vulvodynia in a calm, private, judgment-free setting.

A gap in your abdominal muscles after pregnancy can lead to a bulging belly, back pain, or feeling weak in your core. Together, we'll rebuild strength from the inside out so you can move, lift, and exercise with confidence.

A feeling of heaviness, pressure, or something "falling out" can be a sign of pelvic organ prolapse. Pelvic floor therapy can improve support and ease symptoms, whether you're managing prolapse or preparing for or recovering from surgery.

Orthopedics

Move with more ease and confidence.

Neck and back pain can make everyday things like sitting, sleeping, and lifting feel exhausting. I treat pain and stiffness along with spinal conditions like scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, disc problems, spinal stenosis, and sciatica, plus headaches that start in the neck and jaw (TMJ) pain, finding the root cause so you can move with confidence again.

Long days at a desk, in the car, or on your feet can leave you stiff and sore. Because I can come to your workplace, I can assess your actual setup, recommend ergonomic changes, and build a plan that keeps you comfortable through the workday.

Pain and weakness can start in the joint itself, while numbness and tingling that travel into your arm often come from your neck or from compression by the surrounding muscles and other structures. I treat rotator cuff injuries, frozen shoulder, tennis and golfer's elbow, carpal tunnel symptoms, and more, so you can reach, grip, and carry with more comfort and confidence.

From stiff hips and achy knees to ankle sprains and plantar fasciitis, pain in your lower body affects how you walk, climb stairs, and stay active. Numbness, tingling, or pain that travels down your leg often comes from your back or from compression by the surrounding muscles and other structures, and I'll help find the source. I look at how the whole chain moves together to get you back on your feet.

"It's just arthritis, there's nothing you can do" is something many people hear, but it isn't the whole story. Arthritis is a medical diagnosis, and physical therapy can help your joints move better, improve flexibility in the surrounding muscles, and build the strength that protects your joints, so you can stay active and do more of what you love.

Strength and weight-bearing exercise play an important role in protecting your bones, especially during and after menopause. I'll build a safe, progressive plan to strengthen your body, improve your posture and balance, and help you move with confidence.

After a break and time in a cast, boot, or sling, joints are often stiff and muscles weak. I'll help you safely restore motion, strength, and confidence so you can get back to your normal routine.

Preparing before surgery and recovering well afterward both make a real difference. I guide you through rehab after joint replacements, ACL and meniscus repairs, rotator cuff surgery, spine surgery, and pelvic procedures like hysterectomy or prolapse repair.

Ankle sprains, tendinitis, and nagging aches that keep coming back are often signs of how your body is moving. We'll treat the injury and address what caused it, so it doesn't happen again.

Feeling unsteady on your feet can make you nervous about everyday activities. I'll assess your balance at home, where it matters most, and build your strength and confidence to keep you safe and independent.

Athletic Performance

For the athlete in everyone.

From sprains and strains to post-surgical recovery and returning to activity after a concussion, I'll guide you through every step. The goal is to get you back to the sport you love, with the strength and confidence to stay there.

Pitchers, softball players, quarterbacks, tennis players, and volleyball players put unique demands on the shoulder and elbow. I treat throwing-related shoulder and elbow pain and build arm care programs that support strength, mobility, and healthy mechanics throughout the season.

Whether you're training for your first 5K or your next marathon, I'll assess how you run and address issues like runner's knee, shin splints, IT band pain, and Achilles pain, so you can keep logging miles with confidence.

Leaking, pressure, or heaviness while running, jumping, or lifting is common, even in young, fit athletes who have never had a baby. It isn't something you have to train through. I'll help your pelvic floor and core keep up with the demands of your sport.

Whether you're getting back to running, lifting, or your favorite class, your body deserves a thoughtful plan. I'll help you rebuild your core and pelvic floor so you can return to exercise with confidence.

Growing bodies have their own needs. I treat growth-related pain like Osgood-Schlatter and Sever's disease, along with overuse injuries from year-round play, and help young athletes build strong foundations that last.

Young female athletes face a higher risk of ACL injuries. Targeted programs that improve strength, landing mechanics, and movement control can help reduce that risk, ideally before the season starts.

A detailed movement screen can reveal weaknesses and imbalances before they turn into injuries. It's ideal for athletes, active adults, and anyone who wants to stay ahead of pain.

Watching you move in your real environment shows me what a clinic can't. Whether it's your throw from the mound, your swing in the batting cage or on the course, your footwork on the court, or your lift in the gym, seeing you in action lets me pinpoint what's really going on.

From youth sports to weekend warriors to competitive athletes, I build individualized programs to improve strength, mobility, and performance. Everyone is an athlete in their own way.

Whether you're starting from scratch or getting back after years away, beginning a new routine can feel overwhelming, especially if you're worried about getting hurt. I'll build a safe, gradual plan around your body and your goals, so you can become more active with confidence.

My Approach to Treatment

I believe that every client deserves high-quality, comprehensive care regardless of their current season of life or level of fitness. From high school athletes to postpartum moms, I seek to help you transition from the rehabilitation stage back to high-level physical activity as seamlessly as possible.

Because I am an out-of-network provider, I am not limited by what insurance will or will not cover. We are free to establish a plan of care that works for YOU. You don't have to worry about session limits or pre-authorizations for the treatment you need.

Standard physical therapy clinics are often productivity-driven, meaning you may only get 20 minutes of one-on-one time with your therapist and will likely be working on exercise with a technician or student. At Weeks Health & Wellness, you will receive personalized one-on-one treatment for the entirety of each session.

Whether you have pain that is keeping you from playing ball with your kids or you want to transition back to HIIT classes after having a baby, I would be honored to come alongside you and get you back to the life you love.
